New Cozy Games for July 2026

This may be one of the biggest months for new cozy games that I have ever seen. And I know I say that every month, but there are over 40 new cozy games launching in July!
At least with this many games, there is bound to be something for everyone and as always there's a video version too if you'd rather listen and watch the trailers:
Rhythm Paradise Groove
So let’s dive straight into the list starting with Rhythm Paradise Groove.
This new Switch game was announced as part of the last Nintendo Direct and features a series of rhythm minigames for you to complete to the beat. Each minigame gives you a different scene like catching frisbees as a dog, using a skipping rope or hopping as a frog across a series of lily pads.
There’s also an RPG-style mode you can unlock where you set out on a quest. Cast spells to damage your foes or heal your health as you work through a series of levels. I’m not sure what the end goal is, but it looks fun!
Outside of single-player mode, there’s also multiplayer mode where you’re competing against your friends in a series of challenges like being the first person to grab a slice of cake.
There seems to be a lot packed into Rhythm Paradise Groove, which is launching on the 2nd of July on Nintendo Switch.
Cat Mail Co.
Cat Mail Co. is yet another mail delivery game, but instead of delivering the mail from house to house, you run the local post office. Every day a series of cats will queue up at your desk to either send mail or collect it.
Sending opens the door to a series of fun steps, where you need to mark up the parcels with the correct location, the right stamps for the weight and if they’re fragile or heavy. Then you need to make sure they get to the right place when the Captain comes to collect the mail later.
Collecting mail would seem easier. After all, all you need to do is find a parcel with someone’s name on it, but as you’ll soon find out there are A LOT of parcels. Whether you’re the type to embrace the chaos or organise your post office, Cat Mail Co. is launching on the 6th of July on PC.
I played the demo for this next one in Steam Next Fest and I LOVED it!
Moonlight Peaks
PC | Switch 1&2
This is probably one of my most anticipated releases next month!
Play as the child of Count Dracula, who is determined to prove that a life of compassion is possible, even for a vampire.
So you move to the magical town of Moonlight Peaks to start your new life in your family’s abandoned farm. But you’re a vampire, so this one is a little more magical than usual with enchanted plants that glow and sustain you without the need for blood! Which is a good thing too, because it would be a shame not to use your vampire powers of shapeshifting.
I’ve been waiting so patiently for this game, avoiding even the demo in case it spoiled it for me. But I love the look of the minigames for things like flower arranging, spellcasting and embroidery, shapeshifting is such a fun addition, and all your neighbours are feuding leading to lots of drama.
I can’t wait to play it when Moonlight Peaks launches on PC and Switch 1 & 2 on the 7th of July.
Mythmatch
After launching on PC earlier this year, Mythmatch is now coming to Nintendo Switch.
Set in the world of Greek mythology, in Mythmatch you play as Artemis who’s trying to rebuild the town of Ithaca in the mortal realm. Work alongside the mortals to merge the resources they collect to craft new items, upgrade buildings, and trade with other cities.
As you improve your town, you’ll entice new villagers to join and the more work you do, the more your villagers will believe in you, which earns you credit on Mount Olympus. Get to know the other gods and complete their unique minigames to earn their favour and improve life in the Mortal Realm in Mythmatch, which is launching on the 7th of July on Switch.
Mothkeep
Mothkeep is a short but relaxing game where you explore a peaceful nature sanctuary and watch the moths who live there. Document their lives in your journal as they grow from tiny eggs to fully-fledged adults, all of which are based on real life information!
But it won’t be easy to spot them all and you may need to attract them using colourful flowers, sweets and other treats. If you like the sound of Mothkeep, it’ll be launching on the 10th of July on PC.
Bravest Coconut
All you want to do is return your library book in this next game, but it ends up being much more complicated than you originally thought in this witty point and click adventure.
Head out into the world of Tambryn Valley, where secrets are hidden around every corner, as well as puzzles, brain-teasers, and the occasional monster or two! Will you be able to deliver your library book or will you get distracted by all the mysterious goings on in Bravest Coconut, which is due to launch on the 10th of July on PC, Mac, and Linux.
Neko Station
There are so many idle games coming out now, especially bottom of the screen ones, so I try to only highlight a couple each video or honestly they’d take up the entire thing. This one looks really cool though!
In Neko Station, you’re a cat train driver, transporting your feline customers from station to station. Every cat has their own preferences, so make sure to create a variety of seats and perches from soft cushions to sofas, cat trees, and even cardboard boxes to keep everyone happy. If you have the right layout, you might even attract rare cats with special costumes.
Naturally you can pet the cats, feed them, and take photos of them too when Neko Station launches on the 13th of July on PC.
Mysarium
And we have another idle game up next!
Create a terrarium and watch it grow while you work in this upcoming idle game. Choose everything that goes into this small diorama, from the plants you grow, to the hue and scale of them, then let them flourish while you work.
But there’s also a series of puzzles to uncover, with secret recipes hinting as to how you can grow one-of-a-kind trees and hidden combinations that invite cute critters to your world. Mysarium is another desktop companion tool and it’ll be launching on the 13th of July on PC.
D-Topia
PC | PS5 | Xbox | Switch 1&2
This next game is from Annapurna Interactive and takes a look at what it would be like to live in a world governed by artificial intelligence. The Utopia Project was created in the interest of maximising human happiness and comfort and as the newest employee, your role is to resolve issues around the residential community. Tackle fun logic-based puzzles to resolve mechanical issues and keep the facilities running smoothly. But what happens when problems go beyond the mechanical? How will your choices impact the wellbeing of the residents, and the future of humanity?
D-Topia challenges you to think about what happiness truly means and your choices can turn the utopia toward joy or despair… This is a thought-provoking adventure and it’s due to launch on the 14th of July on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox & Switch 1&2.
A Simpler World
Next up is a decoration game, but not a conventional one.
A Simpler World is a relaxing sandbox game, where you find yourself stranded on an overgrown island that you need to clean up. Chop down trees, clear out rubbish and decorate to your heart’s content to create your own corner of this wooded world when A Simpler World launches on the 14th of July on PC.
Paperlands
Everything is black and white and nothing works in this puzzle game, until you colour it in.
This handcrafted world is made up of various black and white objects that you can’t interact with until it has colour. Work out what colour needs to go where in order to progress. Solve light puzzles, explore different areas, and help the world and its inhabitants along the way in Paperlands, which is launching on the 14th of July on PC.
Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit
PC | PlayStation | Xbox | Switch 1&2
After a period of exclusivity on Netflix, Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit is finally coming to PC and consoles!
Much like the original game, you’re a Spirit Scout, who goes to a haunted island with the goal of helping its ghostly bear inhabitants find peace. But the sequel offers lots of new features like new spirit bears to meet, new pets to raise, new spooky mysteries to solve, and even multiplayer mode that lets you connect with other Spirit Scouts and share gifts with each other. Also there’s something to do with power washing?
Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit will launch on the 15th of July on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Switch 1&2!
Teeto
PC | PS5 | Switch 1&2
Inspired by classics of the genre, Teeto is a wholesome 3D platformer all about saving the world from a shadowy corruption.
Team up as Teeto and Nory, using their unique powers to restore balance and end the chaos. Teeto can take on a new form by absorbing many of the objects they find on their adventure, while their pal Nory has a magical backpack.
Along the way, you’ll meet a cast of quirky characters in need of assistance, as well as ton of puzzles to solve and collectables to find. Plus you can play Teeto in split-screen co-op with you and a friend taking on a hero each.
Teeto is due to launch on the 15th of July on PC, PlayStation 5, and Switch 1&2.
KAMI 2
After more than 10 years since it first launched on the Nintendo 3DS, KAMI 2 is now coming to Nintendo Switch!
With over 100 hand-crafted puzzles, KAMI 2 challenges you to think outside the box in your mission to flood each puzzle with a single colour in as few moves as possible. It’s simple in theory, but will likely get devilishly tricky especially as the store page promises a few tricks and surprises to keep you on your toes.
There’ll also be daily challenges and user created puzzles available too, when KAMI 2 launches on PC & Switch on the 15th of July.
Go-Go Town
PC | Switch 1&2
After two years in Early Access, chaotic city building sim Go-Go Town is finally reaching 1.0! Breath life back into a rundown town by constructing shops, hiring staff, and improving the town to attract new tourists, all while managing infrastructure and avoiding catastrophes.
During Early Access, the developers have added so many new features to the game, including player housing, co-op mode, fast travel, personal vehicles, and they have so much more coming at 1.0 including creative mode, a town hall, and treasure hunting, to name just a few.
Go-Go Town will be launching into 1.0 on the 16th of July on PC and Switch 1&2.
Farlands
If you want a farming game that’s a little bit different, how about farming in space?
In Farlands, you’ve just impulse bought your own planet for a bargain price! The time has come to leave your hectic, stressful life behind in the hopes of finding a more rewarding life beyond the stars.
With little more than your worn-out ship and your personal assistance droid, you decide to embark on a new phase of your life in a lost corner of the galaxy. But there’s a lot of work to be done here and you’ll need to transform this previously abandoned planet into a thriving homestead.
Explore the galaxy, visit other planets to collect valuable resources and maybe you’ll even uncover the mystery of why your planet was so cheap in the first place, when Farlands reaches 1.0 on PC & Switch on the 16th of July.
Moss: The Forgotten Relic
I cannot tell you how many times I’ve said that I want to play Moss, but I don’t have a VR headset.
Well it turns out the devs were listening, because Moss: The Forgotten Relic brings our adorable mouse adventurer to PC & consoles.
Set in the pages of a living storybook, you’ll play as the Reader, who can manipulate the world around our small and courageous hero-mouse, Quill. Explore the world as a duo, with you needing to guide, protect, and sometimes save Quill as she jumps, puzzles, and battles her way through this mythical land.
Moss: The Forgotten Relic brings Moss and Moss: Book II together as a single adventure and it’ll be launching on the 16th of July on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 1&2.
The Mermaid Mask
PC | PS5 | Switch 1&2
From the creators of Detective Grimoire and Tangle Tower comes the next installment in the series: The Mermaid Mask.
The captain of the world's strangest submarine has been murdered. But in a classic locked room mystery, there’s no suspects, no murder weapon, and no way anyone could have gotten inside. Or is there?
That’s what you’ll have to work out as Grimoire and Sally get back on the case in this fully voiced acted detective game packed full of fiendish puzzles, rich lore, and classic British humour.
For those who like cozy games that can sometimes be a little darker, The Mermaid Mask is launching on the 16th of July on PC, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 1&2.
Bookbinding
There’s another darker cozy game up next!
In Bookbinding you work as a bookbinder who takes in old books and gives them a new lease of life. You’ll get to decorate them to your heart’s content, choosing the colours and design that suits your customer’s preferences, or yours if that’s what you want to do instead!
But as you play through the game, an old friend will appear and soon you’ll find yourself tangled up in a murder with your choices dictating the outcome of the game…
Bookbinding is due to launch on PC on the 16th July and I have a gameplay video for it on my channel if you want to see what it’s like!
Puppergeist
Play as a witch who heads into the Doggie Underworld in search of her missing puppy! Travel through the mystical world of lost dog spirits, helping the adorable Puppergeists find peace by solving their problems through playful rhythm-based challenges!
This is a unique game that blends rhythm gameplay with visual novel storytelling that will tug at your heartstrings. Plus the art style is really cute!
Puppergeist is due to launch on the 16th of July on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
Petunia's Purgatory
This game looks just like Rusty’s Retirement, but with an eldritch twist!
In Petunia’s Purgatory, your farm has been occupied by an Eldritch beast that’s living in your barn and it’s slowly taking over. Plant strange and unusual crops, summon cute but creepy helpers to assist you, and attract mutated animals to your farm, all in the name of producing a feast worthy of an Elder God.
Try to keep your sanity in check by planting flowers and decorating your farm to keep things happy and cheerful and do what you can to hold back the Elder God’s hallucinations.
This one’s definitely on the darker side, but I know there’s some dark cozy fans out there who will love Petunia’s Purgatory, which is launching on the 16th of July on PC.
Burgie's Cozy Kitchen
This next game has been in Early Access for just over a year and I’m shocked by how highly rated it is for a game I’ve never heard of.
Burgie's Cozy Kitchen is a cooking game crossed with an idle game, where you run a burger joint on the bottom of your screen. When you get a customer, you need to get to work cooking up a burger for them to eat. But during slow periods you’ll be able to work, study, or do whatever else you want while waiting for someone new to show up.
There’s a pomodoro timer built in if you want to schedule breaks or you can choose whether to play on frantic or normal mode and there’s even a livestream mode for creators!
As I mentioned earlier, Burgie's Cozy Kitchen is in early access and currently has a 97% overwhelmingly positive review score ahead of its 1.0 launch on the 17th of July on PC.
Qianli: The Vastscape Scroll
If you enjoyed Dorfromantik, you might enjoy this next game, which is very similar but with a beautiful Chinese-inspired setting.
Use gorgeous watercolour pieces to create a hex-tiled world and, as you expand, you’ll encounter mystical beings that share the history and folklore of the Far East. These small scenes will bring an extra layer of strategic depth but for the most part this game is relaxed and stress free.
Oh and did I mention there’s cute cats to find within the world too? Qianli: The Vastscape Scroll will launch on the 17th of July on PC.
Cat Isle
This next game reminds me of Minami Lane, but instead you’re transforming a train platform in the middle of the sea into an adorable island for cats!
Open a range of stores, filling them with the goods requested by your feline friends, from pancakes to tea, and do what you can to keep everyone happy. You can unlock decorations using the gachapon machine, which lets you decorate your small town and turn it into the purr-fect space.
Cat Isle is due to launch on the 20th of July on PC.
My Heaven's Dale
This life sim is a little different, because you died… But then you were brought back to life by the mystical Moon Goddess, as there’s more in store for you.
Continue working in your joinery, using your resources to help restore and rebuild the town you call home. But you’ll also need to help the moon fairies repair the destroyed Moon Temple, work out what’s going on with the dwarves outside of town, and even go to the Moon?
My Heaven’s Dale sounds like it’s got everything packed into it and it’ll be launching on the 21st of July on PC.
Scarlet Deer Inn
This next game was made using embroidery!
Scarlet Deer Inn is a medieval folk tale telling the story of a seemingly ordinary village hiding sinister secrets. You play as a mother and a tavern owner, who quickly gets caught up in the mess.
On the surface, Scarlet Deer Inn looks like a cozy, twee, game with beautiful hand-painted environments and a unique animation style. But from the mature content description, it does seem like this one takes a darker twist. So, make sure to check that out before playing when Scarlet Deer Inn launches on the 21st of July on PC.
Lost in Tandem
Speaking of games with beautiful art, this next one looks amazing!
Lost in Tandem is a solo or co-op adventure, where a young girl and a defective robot travel together through a post-apocalyptic world. Their goal? A set of coordinates programmed into the robot’s system, but they don't remember what they were for and they’ve got no idea what they’re going to find there.
Travel together through a variety of environments, braving the elements and using the robot’s special abilities to navigate the devastated world.
Lost in Tandem is due to launch on the 22nd of July on PC.
High Times
This next game is like Scott Pilgrim vs The World crossed with Good Pizza, Great Pizza!
In the magical world of High Times, you can literally eat your feelings as the doughnuts you make can change the emotions of your customers. Listen carefully to their troubled stories and work out what doughnut they need for every situation, whether that’s a pick-me-up, a boost of courage, or something else entirely.
Grow your business by paying attention to your customers, creating new recipes, and upgrading your store. There are over 30 customers to get to know in total with full voice acting and six of them are romanceable with multiple endings to discover when High Times launches on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S & Nintendo Switch on the 23rd of July.
Dodo Duckie
Your family has been kidnapped by aliens and you’re a little duck on a quest to save them in this next game. But there’s a twist! You can switch between side-scrolling and 3rd Person view thanks to a magical hat, opening new pathways and platforms that you couldn’t see before.
Play as an adorable duck, exploring different planets in search of your family in Dodo Duckie. I almost didn’t include this one but honestly it looks so silly and cute and I’m kind of in love with the little duck and can’t wait to see what they get up to when Dodo Duckie launches on PC on the 23rd of July.
Canvas of Thoughts
This next game tells the story of a neurodivergent child struggling to navigate a world that often feels too loud, too fast, and too hard to understand.
Follow her through her life as she goes to school, visits her family or takes a trip to the doctors, and discover how each location affects her with interesting emotion-based gameplay and mechanics. There are also environmental puzzles to solve and lots of information about living with neurodivergence and how it affects daily life.
Canvas of Thoughts is due to launch on the 23rd of July on PC.
The Afterlife Cafe
If you enjoyed Coffee Talk or Tavern Talk, you might like this next game - The Afterlife Cafe. Run a cafe that can travel between the worlds of the living and the spirit realms in this visual novel centered around death.
By chatting to both the living world and those who have passed, you can get a fuller understanding of your clients and the people they care about. But you might also get mixed up in their drama and the choices you make could impact the living, the departed, and your own path forward…
The Afterlife Cafe is due to launch on PC on the 24th of July.
Island Beekeeper
This next game reminds me a lot of Solarpunk, which just launched, but rather than running a farm on a floating island, you’re building an apiary in the clouds.
Build a beekeeping farm, raise your bees, grow flowers, and keep the bees happy to grow enough honey to send back down to Earth. The happier your bees are, the better the quality of the honey, and there are even different varieties of bees with different traits and the option to crossbreed them and create hybrids!
Island Beekeeper sounds really cool and you can play it in solo or in co-op mode. Plus there’s some sort of mystery to uncover as well about what happened to the beekeepers who came before you and why they mysteriously disappeared…
Island Beekeeper is due to launch on the 24th of July on PC.
Echoes From Ciudadela
In this narrative puzzle game, you’re following in the footsteps of your deceased father, with the aim of spreading his ashes on the top of the mountain. But that may be easier said than done, as you discover the mountain path is sealed and you’ll need to navigate a series of puzzles in order to venture deeper.
Put your deduction skills to the test using your father’s journal for reference as you dig deep into the lore behind this sealed mountain in Echoes From Ciudadela, which is launching on the 24th of July on PC.
Go North
PC | Xbox X|S
In a world made up of mazes, you need to guide a Littler called Dara as she attempts to go north in search of the Maze God.
But something sinister seems to have happened to the mazes, as they appear to be corrupted… Every maze has its own puzzle for you to solve as you move deeper into the wilderness, with the aid of magical relics that will help you to continue pushing forward.
Only once Dara reaches the end will she be able to ask the Maze God to grant her wish, or so she hopes… Go North is due to launch on the 28th of July on PC and Xbox Series X|S.
Suncraft
Next up is yet another farming sim, but this game is a bit different as you don’t have a character. Instead you play by clicking on different elements of the map to collect resources, talk to the villagers, and complete your main goal, which is rebuilding the lighthouse.
Suncraft is definitely doing things a bit differently to typical sims in this genre, and also adds an in-depth skill tree, automation, and more to keep things interesting ahead of its launch on the 28th of July on PC.
Village in the Shade
I’m only going to touch upon this next one briefly, as it apparently doesn’t have English language support, but I hope they add it as it looks set to be another interesting dark cozy farming sim!
In Village in the Shade, you run a farm in a Japanese mountain village filled with secrets. Tend to your farm, chat with your neighbours, and above all else make sure you follow the village rules: 1. Don’t talk to strangers. 2. Don’t leave the village. And 3. Whatever you do, do not go out at night…
I’m really intrigued by Village in the Shade and what could possibly be hiding in the night. If you are too it’ll be launching on PC, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 1&2 on the 29th of July.
Ugoku Sushi Bar
There haven’t been many cooking games so far in this video, but Rogue Duck Interactive are back again with yet another new release and this one challenges you to run a sushi bar.
Quickly prepare sushi and try to keep up with the conveyor belt in this cozy cooking game. There are over 100 sushi recipes to cook in total and you’ll need to prepare everything quickly and accurately, while also making sure they look presentable too!
Over time you’ll be able to upgrade your kitchen, get to know your customers, and even participate in local events and food festivals. Ugoku Sushi Bar is due to launch on the 29th of July on PC.
Leafy Corner
We’re leaving the corporate world behind to run a cute little plant shop in this next game.
Leafy Corner is a relaxing shop sim where you grow, sell, and care for houseplants in your own little corner of the world. Customise the store to set it up your way, while you grow and sell over 100 different plants to your new customers. Some know exactly what they want, while others have tricky requests you’ll need to decipher before you can serve them.
Leafy Corner is a chill plant shop game and it’ll be launching on the 30th July on PC, Mac, Steam Deck, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch!
Rita
I love picross games like Squeakross: Home Squeak Home and Murder by Numbers, so I’m really intrigued by this word-puzzle game.
In Rita you play as a little chicken exploring the world to collect letters and fill out the pages of her crosswords, anagrams, word searches, or other word puzzles. As Rita solves puzzles, her clever solutions will bring the world to life, manifesting trains, repairing bridges, and further manipulating reality to help her continue her adventure.
Rita is perfect for puzzle fans and will be launching on the 30th of July on PC.
The Ranchers
Admittedly, I am quite skeptical of our penultimate game because it promises a lot and I’m worried it won’t deliver.
The Ranchers is a massive multiplayer co-op life sim, where you leave the city behind to buy your first plot of land in the countryside and start your new life. WIth modular building, you can create and customise your ranch, where you can raise animals and grow crops.
However, your skills as a farmer and manager will be put to the test to make your Ranch a prosperous business and earn the villagers' respect and esteem. And who knows, maybe find love and start a family. With online co-op for up to four players, auction market, trade guild, and a massive open world to explore, The Ranchers sounds incredibly promising and it’s due to launch on the 30th of July on PC in Early Access.
Black Cat Book Club
Our final game is perfect for fans of idle games and desktop companions! Black Cat Book Club is a magical tower that contains a library and sits on your home screen.
The library's only resident is a cat, who is slowly reading their way through all of the books in the library and learning magic! Over time they'll unlock new spells that upgrades their reading speed, ability to focus, experience earned, and more.
Like all good desktop games, you can also customise the library and the cat itself to make them match your style. Plus you can also customise the size and appearance of the library window to fit it in around your other programs.
Black Cat Book Club is due to launch on the 31st of July on PC.
Wow there were a lot of games on this list across a ton of genres, so hopefully you’ve discovered something new to play!
