Nintendo Switch 2 sells a record-breaking 3.5 million units in four days since launch!

It's official - since its launch on June 5th, the Nintendo Switch 2 has sold a record-breaking 3.5 million units becoming the fastest-selling Nintendo console ever!

In comparison, the original Nintendo Switch sold 2.74 million units in its launch month, according to this financial statement from Nintendo.

The most impressive thing about this successful launch is how many Nintendo Switch 2 consoles are available. Many stores still have supply of the Nintendo Switch 2 available, suggesting that Nintendo has been stockpiling units ahead of launch and as such has many more units available at launch than its predecessor.

The Nintendo Switch 2 is currently available in most retailers for £395.99/$449.99 or via a launch bundle edition containing a digital copy of Mario Kart World is also available for £429.99/$499.99.
