It's the start (well almost middle now) of September and every month I do a monthly round-up of all the cozy games we have to look forward to over on my YouTube channel.
Well this month, I decided to bring this to the website too! So please enjoy this complete list of every cozy game launching in September 2025 and I'll update it throughout the month with any new releases that announce!
And, as always, there is a video version!

Tiny Whiny Island
The concept of this game seems simple - all you need to do is deliver mail all across this little island - but thanks to the physics-based gameplay, this takes a slightly more difficult, often hilarious, turn.
At times you’ll find yourself scooting around the charming cobbled streets, then next thing you know you’ll be careening down mountainsides or skirting around volcanoes! But don’t let this funny gameplay fool you as you still have a job to do and those letters aren’t going to deliver themselves when Tiny Whiny Island launches on the 1st September on PC.

Plantasia
Next up is a 1.0 release for one of those bottom of the screen games! Plantasia is a cozy gardening idle game that’s set in a solarpunk universe. While you’re working or busy on your PC, you can plant seeds and tend to your plants, watching them grow into strange alien fauna.
Sell their harvest to earn money to buy more seeds and splice your different plants together to create rare hybrids to earn even rarer materials. Plantasia is currently sitting at a 95% rating on Steam after their Early Access period ready for their launch into 1.0 on September 1st!

Dogs Organized Neatly
We’re finally moving away from September 1st with this adorable puzzle game that I loved on PC that’s finally coming to Switch. Dogs Organized Neatly is as simple a puzzle game as it gets - you just need to fit all these good boys and girls into the box.
Except they come in all different shapes and sizes and getting them all to fit can be a real brainteaser! I’ve played Dogs, Cats, and Birds organized neatly on PC and they’re the perfect time filler if you’ve not got long enough to play a full day in your game, but don’t want to end up endlessly scrolling on social media!
Dogs Organized Neatly will be launching on Nintendo Switch on the 2nd of September.

Happy Puppy
And we’re continuing the dog theme with this next game. In Happy Puppy you decorate a garden and fill it with plants, toys, and decorations for playful puppies.
Look after your puppies to keep them happy and healthy by feeding, cleaning, and playing with them and over time you’ll be able to expand your garden and attract more puppies to join your home!
Happy Puppy is another idle game and it’ll be launching on September 2nd on PC.

Camper Van: Make it Home
Camper Van: Make it Home is a beautiful pastel decorating game, where you design and organise the camper van of your dreams while on a journey of self-discovery. Build your own home-on-wheels, using space saving measures to fit all of your belongings into the tiny space you have available.
There’ll be a bit of puzzling needed as you organize all of your belongings and find the best place to fit them all and you can even decorate outside of your van as well as inside! As you travel from palace to place to experience the story of the game, you can also customise your van to suit each location you visit.
And there’s also an adorable corgi joining you on your journey! It launched on PC back in June and it’ll be coming to Nintendo Switch on the 4th of September!

Kemono Teatime
Prepare to relax in this next game as you enter the world of Kemono Teatime.
Run a tea shop in this cozy simulation game, where you serve tea and desserts to your customers! Create your own unique blends with a stock of 9 black teas, 15 herbs, and 6 secret ingredients and try to learn your customers’ favourite recipes in the process.
But there’s a twist! The cafe will only be open for three weeks, so you’ve got a limited amount of time to learn everything you can about your cute customers and also find out why the cafe is only open 21 days in the first place…
Kemono Teatime will be launching on PC & Switch on September 4th!

Touhou Farming ~ Minoriko's Homestead Harvest
Is this the first farming game on this list? I think it is! Created as a fan project in the world of Touhou, in this game you play as a harvest god trying to sell produce to increase her popularity and become the top harvest god amongst the townfolks.
With two different game modes to customise the game to your playstyle, there’ll be lots of farming, fishing, and mining to get up to when Touhou Farming ~ Minoriko's Homestead Harvest launches into Early Access on PC on the 5th of September.

Little Problems: A Cozy Detective Game
If you’ve played Duck Detective and are looking for another puzzle game like that, then you may like Little Problems: A Cozy Detective Game!
These cases aren’t about murders or robberies though, instead you use your detective skills to solve mysteries like minor inconveniences, everyday misunderstandings, and little problems. What class do you have today and when are you supposed to meet your study group?
This is such a nice twist on typical detective games that make things a little more light-hearted and approachable, not to mention the cute art style and it’ll be launching on September 9th on PC!
Plus I've put out a review if you want to find out more about it:

Call of the Sea
Normally I wouldn’t include lovecraftian games on this list as they can be a bit terrifying, but this one is actually an adventure puzzle game. In Call of the Sea you play as Norah, who is searching for her missing husband after he disappeared on an expedition.
Follow in his footsteps, you’ll find yourself uncovering the remnants of a lost civilisation and discovering the occult mystery your husband has gotten mixed up in when Call of the Sea launches on Switch on September 9th.

Star Birds
Our next game comes from the creators of Dorfromatik! Star Birds is a new base-building and resource management game set in space…
Join your flock of Star Birds on a mission to establish a thriving mining operation, and discover new technologies to advance your colonies even further. Star Birds is a colorful sci-fi building and resource management game where you help your population of spacefaring birds prosper and thrive.
Scan nearby asteroids and use your rover to uncover hidden resources, build production facilities to mine resources and automate the manufacturing of increasingly advanced goods, and deliver products to fulfil quests and satisfy the needs of your birds when Star Birds launches on September 10th on PC in Early Access.

Sips & Sonnets
Next up is a very British visual novel, where you play as an elderly woman running a tea shop. Brew a range of teas for your clients and listen to their stories as they take a break in your little shop.
Then at the end of the day, draw inspiration from your conversations to write poetry! The best part about this game is that it’s fully voice acted with cast members from Baldurs Gate 3 and Disco Elysium and there’s multiple endings to discover when Sips & Sonnets launches on the 12th of September on PC.

Gloomy Eyes
Steam | PlayStation | Xbox | Switch
I usually stray away from horror games, but I was reassured by the developers that this is a cozy horror game with no jump scares to worry about. And as we’re getting closer to Halloween, I thought it was time to start sharing some darker cozy games.
Gloomy Eyes is a Tim Burton-esque adventure, where you alternate between controlling Gloomy, a zombie, and Nene, a human, on their quest to bring back the daylight. Your world has been plunged into darkness during the everlasting conflict between the living and the undead, but can these two unlikely allies save the day?
Find out when Gloomy Eyes launches on PC, PlayStation, Xbox & Switch on the 12th of September!

Bookshop Simulator
There have been so many of these Supermarket Simulator style games and I have to admit I got pretty addicted to TCG Card Shop Simulator. Well I think I’ve found my next addiction in Bookshop Simulator.
Open your own bookshop in this shop simulation game! Order inventory, stock shelves, and man the cash register to keep your shop running smoothly. But this one already has so many improvements on the previous games I’ve played, from letting you decorate your store, including changing your wall and floor colour, adopt pets, and open new locations around the world!
I’m really intrigued by this one and love the silly book puns and it’ll be launching on the 12th of September on PC.

Inspector Waffles: Early Days
Steam | GOG | Xbox | PlayStation | Switch
Plucky cat detective Inspector Waffles is back for an all new adventure in Inspector Waffles: Early Days! But this time we’re heading back in time to witness Waffles’ first days as an inspector.
Rather than playing as a seasoned detective, you’re playing a rookie learning the ropes as you try to solve crimes across your city. From theft, to drug trafficking, and arson, no case is too big for this plucky cat. Or is it?
Get to the bottom of these cases when Inspector Waffles: Early Days launches on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation & Xbox on the 12th of September.

Cozy Organizer
This next game reminds me so much of A Little to the Left! In Cozy Organizer, you’ll be doing exactly what it says on the tin - organising several spaces, from bookshelves to pantries, and craft cupboards to make sure that everything is neat and tidy!
There looks to be so many different scenes and levels to explore and there’s also an endlessly replayable sandbox mode so that you never run out of things to organise when Cozy Organizer launches on September 13th on PC!

LEGO® Voyagers
Steam | EGS | PlayStation | Xbox | Switch
There’s a new 2-player Lego game coming and if you’re not excited, you should be! When two friends make it their mission to rescue an abandoned spaceship, they find themselves setting on a journey that’ll help them find much more. Plus, your friend can play for free with Friend Pass so only one of you needs to own the game!
Play as two LEGO bricks, hopping, rolling, and falling around a world built out of other LEGO bricks like yourself. The best part is that you can interact with them and your friend to help you explore and engage with the world around you.
I’m always looking for new 2-player games to play after finishing all of the Hazelight masterpieces like Split Fiction and It Takes Two, so LEGO Voyagers is going firmly on my wishlist ahead of its release on the 15th of September on PC, PlayStation, Xbox & Switch.

Campus Life
I’ve not heard anything about this next game for a while, but they finally announced a release date! Campus Life is a school simulation game, where you play as a college student at the start of a new school year, but who will you become?
Chart the course of your college life: attending classes and clubs, making friends, joining a fraternity or sorority, and try to pass all your classes or become the coolest student on campus.
Whatever you want to get out of this school year, the school is yours to explore and there’s so much to get up to when Campus life launches on the 15th of September on PC.

Little Witch in the Woods
I have been waiting so long for this pixel art witch game and no it’s not Witchbrook! It’s actually Little Witch in the Woods, which is launching into 1.0 next month!
Every apprentice witch must go to a Witch House to help the nearby village and villagers and you’re next in line to start your training! But you decide to take matters into your own hands and stray from tradition by setting up your own potion-brewing business in an old Witch’s cottage.
Prove yourself to your school by using everything you’ve learned so far to help people and make the world a better place. Scavenge for resources and use potions to solve problems, speak to cute and mysterious creatures and fill up your book with witchy information!
If you’ve been waiting to play this game too, it’s launching out of early access into 1.0 on the 15th of September on PC.

Voyagers of Nera
This next game is a Moana-infused adventure that I first saw featured in the Wholesome Showcase last year!
Voyagers of Nera is a co-op survival, crafting game, where you and your friends harness the power of water. Use your newfound abilities to take to the waves to explore the vast ocean and everything it encompasses on a quest to save your world. From underwater ruins, to beautiful islands filled with hidden treasure, your journey will take you far.
But this world is also filled with monsters you’ll have to face in order to awaken the ancient spirits once more and save your world when Voyagers of Nera launches into Early Access on PC on the 16th of September.

Town to City
I fell in love with Station to Station because of the art style and Town to City uses the same art style to create a gorgeous town builder that goes heavy on the decorating!
Create a flourishing town, placing rows of houses, plazas and parks, shopping areas, and winding alleyways to link them all together.
But there’s also city building elements to contend with as well, as in order to build more you’ll need to meet the needs of your population. Only then will you be able to entice more residents to move in, bringing with them new trades and desires.
This game looks gorgeous and is worth trying out for that alone when it launches into Early Access on PC on the 16th of September.

Henry Halfhead
Steam | EGS | PlayStation | Switch
One of the strangest games I’ve ever seen is up next and that game is called Henry Halfhead. In this peculiar sandbox game you play as Henry, who can morph into any object they come into contact with. From your toaster, to your cat plushie or even a globe, hop from object to object as you use them to interact with this colourful world.
And the best part is that you can play it in co-op with your friend! Whether you want to follow along with the wholesome story or just muck around in co-op with your player two, there’s bound to be hours of fun packed into this game when Henry Halfhead launches on the 16th of September on PC, PlayStation 5 and Switch.

Letters to Arralla
It’s time for another cute mail delivery game, where you play as a turnip…
Yes you heard that right! Play as the newly recruited delivery-Turnip in Letters To Arralla. In this relaxing RPG, you’re covering the holiday of the previous mailman, but the job isn’t as easy as you may think. Each letter is a puzzle to solve as instead of an address, there’s a pictogram drawn on every envelope to let you know where it needs to be delivered!
Explore the beautiful landscape, inspired by Victoria, Australia to work out where the mail needs to end up. And if you get bored along the way, you can always take a sneak peek and see what they’re writing about!
Letters to Arralla is super cute and I love all the vegetable creatures and can’t wait to meet them when Letters to Arralla launches on PC on the 16th of September.

Strange Antiquities
Occult plant shop sim Strange Horticulture is getting a sequel - in Strange Antiquities you run a store for arcane artefacts in the familiar town of Undermere. From strange medallions to withered hands, all artefacts are carefully documented in tomes to help with identification. But be careful as a misidentification could be costly…
Just like in Strange Horticulture you’ll be able to make choices that shape the story. Will you help someone with their problem, or curse them with a new affliction? The decisions you make will change the overarching story and the ending.
I loved the first game so I can’t wait to check this one out when it launches on the 17th of September on PC & Switch.

Goblin Clean-Up
Originally due to launch last month, Goblin Clean-up has been postponed until the 18th of September to add some extra polish to the game.
But now it’s time to grab your mops and your player two, three, and four, because there’s only a few weeks to go! You’ve been hired by a dungeon master to clean up dungeons after adventurers have finished them to prepare for the next party
From cleaning up blood and monster remains, to resetting traps and restoring precious objects, your work will be cut out for you but it won’t be easy… This game looks so funny and I hope it’s not delayed again!

NEW: Easy Delivery Co.
In this relaxing driving game, you've been hired to deliver parcels to a small, scenic mountain town that's constantly plagued by the worst snowy weather. You'll need to pack up your truck and carefully navigate the winding country roads to deliver your mail, but there may be more to this game than meets the eye - but not your wage, sadly that is just that low.
The Steam page hints that you'll need to uncover the story of the town's mysterious residents and solve the mysteries hidden in this strange, snowy, outpost. Or just deliver your mail, get your wage and go home - it's up to you when Easy Delivery Co. launches on the 18th of September on PC.

Witchy Business
We’ve got another shop sim up next and I’ve had my eyes on this one for a while because it’s a Witchy shop sim!
In Witchy Business, you’re running a magic shop, selling oddities and brewing up potions for your customers using ingredients that you grow in your garden! I’ve played a lot of Rogue Duck Interactive’s game and always find them fun, if a little chaotic, so I’m excited to see what this one is like when it launches on the 22nd of September on PC!

The Home County
Alright I’ve not seen anything about this next game, but it sounds interesting.
Set in Edwardian Britain, The Home County is a village-building game, where you start with nothing and gradually build a bustling village to call home. It seems to be combining life sim and farming sim elements, but there’s also deckbuilding thrown in there and more for you to discover as you play through it.
I’m really not sure what to expect from this one, especially as I’ve seen nothing about it or the developers on social media, so I’ll be keeping a careful eye on The Home County when it launches on the 22nd of September on PC in Early Access.

Slime Rancher 2
Steam | EGS | PlayStation | Xbox
Slime Rancher was one of the first cozy games I ever played and I’ve been waiting so patiently for Slime Rancher 2 to reach 1.0. And if you have been too, then the great news is that we don’t have long to wait!
Slime Rancher 2 will be leaving Early Access on the 23rd of September so that we can follow Beatrix across the Slime Sea to Rainbow Island to discover even more adorable slimes! Can you unravel the island’s secrets and help save Rainbow Island when Slime Rancher 2 fully-launches on the 23rd of September on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox!

Cardboard Town
City-building and Deckbuilding collide in Cardboard Town, a cozy management game that challenges you to build a city from the ground up.
Carefully manage your resources to control your stats and earn money to draw new card packs. Each card promises a different building, material, or effect, but be careful as there may also be random disasters that impede your development!
Cardboard Town originally launched on PC back in 2023 and it’ll be coming to Switch on the 25th of September!

Consume Me
This next game is for anyone who didn’t feel like they fit in in high school. In fact it’s a whole game dedicated to the fact that being a teenager SUCKS.
In Consume Me, you take on the role of Jenny, a young student who’s entering her final year of high school and you’ll need to cope with all the struggles that entails. From juggling schoolwork, chores, your part-time job, and your dream to get hot to win over your crush, you’ll need to manage your time carefully to fit everything in.
This hilariously dark coming of age story should not be taken lightly though as it does handle topics like fatphobia, disordered eating and dieting. I just wanted to make you aware of that if you do want to dive into Consume Me when it launches on the 25th of September on PC!

Agatha Christie - Death on the Nile
Steam | EGS | PlayStation | Xbox | Switch
Next up is another one that’s not super cozy, but that I think could fit! Agatha Christie - Death on the Nile is the latest instalment in the Agatha Christie detective game series, where you’ll step back into the shoes of private detective Poirot on his latest case.
Between the puzzle gameplay and full voice acting, I was already invested in this one. But this game offers a fresh twist on the iconic story with a whole new time period, character, and the book only covers the first half of the game…
If you’re intrigued too, Agatha Christie - Death on the Nile will be launching on the 25th of September on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Switch.

Mars First Logistics
If you love getting creative and building things in games, then you may enjoy this next one. Mars First Logistics is a physics-based simulation game, where you build mechanised rovers in space!
Design and assemble rovers of your own creation and then see how they cope on the rugged terrain of Mars. Your goal? To help Martians move their cargo from place to place, so this is kind of like a delivery game, but with a lot more thinking power needed.
The more deliveries you complete, the more money you’ll earn to create even more rovers and take on tougher tasks and if you’re stuck then bring along your friends to help out too when Mars First Logistics launches into 1.0 on the 26th of September on PC!

PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC
It’s time for another remaster of a beloved 3D Platforming Game, because PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC is launching next month!
The Ghosts stole PAC-Village's Golden Fruit and now it’s down to PAC-MAN to get it back and put a stop to the ghosts and their dastardly boss, Spooky. Explore the world of PAC-Land from the snowy mountain tops, to the lava-filled volcano and the relaxing Paradise Meadows on your quest to restore order to PAC-World.
PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC will be launching on the 25th of September on PC and Switch 1 & 2.

Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist & the White Guardian
Steam | PlayStation | Switch
And finally we have a new Atelier game! In Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist & the White Guardian, players will follow Rias and Slade as they return to their hometown to find it empty and desolate after a mysterious disaster caused most of its residents to disappear.
Now back home, our two protagonists try to restore the town to its former glory, as well as the shop left behind by their missing grandfather, and also try to solve the mystery of the townspeople’s disappearance. I love the idea of adding town restoration to the Atelier series and I’m excited to see how it plays out when Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist & the White Guardian launches on the 26th of September on PC, Switch, and PS5.
I hope you’ve discovered some new cozy games in this list and please let me know if I've missed any so I can add them!
See you next month 👋
