Every month I confidently say, this list will be shorter, and every month without fail I end find over 30 new cozy games and April is no different!
Let’s get started with a game I feel like I’ve been waiting forever for… Fishbowl!
And, as always, there's a video version with all the trailers if you'd prefer to watch that:

Fishbowl
Fishbowl is a slice of life coming of age story that follows Alo, a twenty-one year old who’s just moved to the big city for a new job.
But she soon finds herself in isolation and the game explores the struggles she faces while trapped at home, trying to nurture friendships and navigate the grief she feels from losing her grandma. Help her to stay in touch with her loved ones, complete her video editing work, and sort through her late grandmother’s things.
The pixel art style is gorgeous and I like how it’s tackling heavier topics like self-care and grief and it’s going to be launching on the 2nd of April on PC and PlayStation 5.

Clean Up Earth
Next up is a co-operative cleaning game, where you work with up to 8 friends to restore polluted environments and bring nature back.
Use your TerraCleaner to suck up rubbish from around the map that you can then recycle and use resources to rebuild collapsed structures. Your hard work will be rewarded with plants regrowing and wildlife returning to the area, restoring the map to a beautiful state and you can even uncover remnants of lost civilisations buried beneath the dirt.
This one gives me real Powerwash Simulator vibes, but on a much grander scale as you’re able to play with up to 25 allies in online multiplayer! Plus, community progress in-game actually results in donations for real environmental organisations when Clean Up Earth launches on the 2nd of April on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Hidden Around the World
Our next game is a cozy hidden object game from the developers behind A Tiny Sticker Tale and Lonesome Village!
In Hidden Around the World, you explore a variety of scenes inspired by real-world locations from all over the globe, like Paris, Tokyo, Rio, and Venice. Each scene has been lovingly hand-drawn and hundreds of objects have been hidden throughout for you to find.
You can even create your own levels to share with other players in Hidden Around the World when it launches on PC, Switch & Mobile on the 6th of April.

KuloNiku: Bowl Up!
Inspired by Cooking Mama, KuloNiku: Bowl Up! Is a chaotic cooking game where you inherit your grandma’s meatball restaurant.
Learn the ropes and put your cooking skills to the test as you climb the town leaderboard and compete against other restaurants and their owners. Or get to know them and become friends, share recipes, and deepen your bond.
And no restaurant game would be complete without the ability to decorate your restaurant and cater to your personal tastes - sorry grandma! KuloNiku: Bowl Up! will be released on the 7th of April on PC!

Nippets
As will Nippets, another hand-drawn hidden object game where you need to help the villagers find their missing objects and return them. The thing I like about Nippets is how the entire world is alive and while you hunt for the hidden items, you can also people watch and see what else is going on.
There’ll be 3-5 levels to explore when Nippets launches on the 7th April on PC!

High Above
We have our first decorating game up next - High Above is a cozy rooftop-building game about designing the perfect rooftop retreat. At launch you’ll be able to build in four distinct locations: Mediterranean, Japanese, Modern, and Cyberpunk, each filled with unique objects and details to bring your world to life.
As well as the ability to decorate in sandbox mode though, there are also 12 optional challenges to complete, from villagers who dream of a rooftop escape with a limited budget.
Step away from the chaos and noise of everyday life, and build your own peaceful retreat in the sky in High Above when it launches on the 9th of April on PC.

Pluralys
Next up is Pluralys! In this narrative RPG, you play as a teenager who is told they need to save the world. Armed with a strange device that’s capable of freezing time, moving heavy objects, and even hacking security systems, you set out to get to the bottom of whatever’s going on.
Unlike other RPGs, Pluralys focuses on dialogue rather than combat and grindy quests, encouraging you to engage with the wider world, discover meaningful conversations, and face real consequences for decisions as the story progresses. Pluralys is currently out in Early Access on PC and has a 100% positive rating, but it will be launching into 1.0 on the 9th of April.

Lugh World
I wasn’t sure whether to add this next one, but it looks like a great open world alternative to Pokemon and Palworld!
Lugh World is a monster-taming MMORPG, where you can set out with friends to capture and evolve Lughs. Born from the Light of Creation, Lughs are blessed with incredible powers and special abilities that you can use to explore the world.
Form alliances with city guilds, travel to new regions, and delve deep into Lugh World’s mysteries! But beware as many trials await, and not everything is as it seems in Lugh World, which is launching on the 9th of April on PC in Early Access.

A Planet Full of Cats
Our last hidden object game of the video is A Planet Full of Cats, which is created by devcats who have made so many different hidden cat games.
But, A Planet Full of Cats takes things a step further as you play as a bounty hunter tasked with discovering why A Planet Full of Cats has lost contact with the Galactic Feline Federation. Explore alien biomes, from fungal forests to abandoned temples and frozen labs on your search to find all the lost cats when A Planet Full of Cats launches on the 9th of April on PC & Linux.

Powerwash Simulator 2 - Adventure Time Pack
PC | PlayStation 5 | Xbox Series X|S | Nintendo Switch 2
Start with a dirt covered area and then get to work cleaning all the grime away and leaving it spotless in Powerwash Simulator 2. This game is so satisfying as when you clean away the dirt, you get rewarded with little dings of serotonin to let you know that you’ve completed an area. It’s the perfect game to disassociate from the world and focus on cleaning an area over time and now they’ve got a brand new DLC on the way!
Clean up five new levels from the Land of Ooo in the PowerWash Simulator 2 - Adventure Time Pack, which is launching on the 9th of April on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.

Restore Your Island
For the longest time, I kept getting this next game confused with Clean Up Earth, which is funny because they’re both launching a week apart!
In Restore Your Island, you need to restore a damaged tropical island (what a surprise) and help bring it back to life with your loyal dog by your side. When you arrive the island will be covered in rubbish, and you’ll need to gradually clean everything up using your handy tool.
There’s no time limit for this, so you can take your time collecting and selling the rubbish, rescuing wild animals, upgrading your tools, and even building yourself a cabin to call home when Restore Your Island launches on the 9th of April on PC!
If you enjoyed Dorfromantik or Terrascape, then this next game may tickle your fancy! While it’s another entry in the tile-building genre, Nekokami seems to set itself apart with a heartwarming story of Human-Cat friendship, set millennia in the future.
As you rebuild each area, you can discover Kami or spirits that you can try to befriend in the hopes of receiving a blessing for your world and maybe someday you will be able to wield their godly powers?
Nekokami - The Human Restoration Project is currently in Early Access and is sitting on a 100% positive rating, but it’s due to launch into 1.0 on the 10th of April on PC.
Our next game is a wholesome narrative puzzle game about sorting through the home of a loved one who has recently passed away. Discover the life they led as you sort through their belongings, deciding which ones to keep, which ones to sell, and which ones to discard forever.
But while organising you come across their soon-to-be-published memoir, which has been damaged! Use the items you find around the house to repair the damage and piece together their past. But you can’t keep everything and the things you do choose to keep will change the outcome of the story.
A Storied Life: Tabitha is due to launch on the 14th April on PC & Switch and I have a gameplay video of the demo if you want to see what it’s like!
Now I love a good cozy murder mystery and when Toge Productions reached out to me about Moses & Plato: Last Train to Clawville I have to admit I was unsure and it’s probably more of a narrative game with a detective and mystery theme.
But while there are some trigger warnings to be aware of before going in, Toge have assured me that there’s nothing too gory and they think it would be a good dark cozy game. There’s definitely a lot of dark here too as someone has been murdered and you need to work out who it is…
In a race against time, you’ll need to put your detective skills to the test, interrogate passengers, and use your animal senses to uncover the other passenger’s secrets before the train reaches its final destination! Moses & Plato - Last Train to Clawville will also be fully voice acted at launch on the 14th of April on PC.
Let’s lighten the mood a little with this next game - a chaotic cleaning game! You’re a gig worker, who takes on a variety of cleaning jobs around the city from an apartment FULL of hoarded items, to a coffee shop, ancient temple, or a haunted mansion…
Most of these cleaning games are third person, so I love that in Cleaning Up! We can watch our little character sweeping everything up with their brush or sucking it up with their industrial hoover.
Cleaning Up! Is launching on the 15th of April on PC, PlayStation, and Switch!
What would you do for love?
In The Day I Became a Bird, you follow a young boy who falls in love with a young girl named Sylvia. But she’s obsessed with birds, so Frank hatches a master plan to try and catch her eye.
This heartwarming narrative-adventure is a nostalgic return to childhood, where you follow Frank through his life as he navigates his newfound feelings for his classmate. The Day I Became a Bird is launching on PC, PlayStation & Switch on the 15th of April.
After over ten years, Tomodachi Life is back! In this bizarre life sim, you follow along with Mii characters, that you can design yourself, as they live their own carefree lives on a small island in the sea. Watch them interact with each other, hanging out, and having kids, while you get to work decorating the island, creating new Miis, and catering to their needs.
There’s a free demo out on Switch if you want to try your hand at creating your Miis already, but the full game, Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream, will be out on the 16th of April on Switch 1 & 2.
Hello Kitty fans will be delighted to hear that there’s a new Hello Kitty Island Adventure DLC coming called City Town! It promises over 30 hours of additional adventures with 90 new quests in total and adds U*SA*HA*NA and a mysterious second guest to the game, as well as a brand new region to explore.
In City Town you’ll be able to unlock the customisable Imagination Cafe and help your friends set up their own shops, like a plushie store and arcade! Hello Kitty Island Adventure - City Town DLC will be launching on the 16th of April on PC, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.
Explore a mysterious island as a tiny gecko on a mission to save their friend.
Gecko Gods is a chill puzzle platformer that allows you to climb anything, solve ancient contraptions, and clamber through the crumbling ruins of a collapsed society - and if you get hungry along the way, eat some bugs.
Along with investigating a wide open island full of secrets and collectibles, you can also dive into ancient tombs to complete the puzzles in ways only a wall-climbing gecko can.
Gecko Gods is launching on the 16th April on PC, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch!
This next game was supposed to launch last month, but has been delayed to April.
Play as a photographer lost in another realm in this next game! OPUS: Prism Peak is a narrative adventure, where you’re stranded in a mystical realm with a young girl who’s lost her memories.
Travel together through the Dusklands, using your camera to photograph clues along the way and add them to your journal to help identify spirits, piece together myths, and decode ancient runes.
OPUS: Prism Peak will be launching on PC and Switch 1&2 on the 16th of April.
Surprisingly there haven’t been many decorating games on this list, but Shanty Town is going to change that. In this relaxing urban building game, you’ll sneak structures in wherever they fit, with the game encouraging you to build upwards rather than out, fill the smallest gaps, and find clever ways to place decorations.
Every map promises unique decorations to make them feel distinct and different and while there are optional goals to guide your creativity, you can just relax and decorate to your heart’s content when Shanty Town launches on PC on the 16th of April.
There also have not been any idle games on this list, but if you’re an idle game fan then Cozy Sanctuary will be launching next month!
Run a pet sanctuary on the bottom of your screen and watch over your cute critters, who will play, eat, and grow while you’re working or relaxing. There’s a wide range of animals to unlock like red pandas, flamingos, giraffes, and more when Cozy Sanctuary launches on the 16th April on PC.
Next up is another early access release, but this one is a farming game on a grand scale!
In Hillshade Farm you inherit a small parcel of land and a rundown farm that you need to renovate before you can call it home. Clear the land, gather raw materials, and use them to repair barns, rebuild fences, and slowly restore the farm back to a working homestead.
With a step towards a photo-realistic art style and first person view, Hillshade Farm may appeal to players who aren’t a fan of pixel art but I have to admit I’m a little cautious about this one and I’ll be waiting to see what Hillshade Farm is like when it launches on the 21st of April on PC in Early Access.
Build your own home on wheels and live sustainably off-grid in this next game! Start out with an empty camper van and over time you’ll be able to turn it into the home of your dreams. Scavenge resources, develop new technologies and build your own moving home, which can be powered with energy from the sun, wind, or water.
There’s also farming and fishing and you can decorate and customise your home and they’ve even added co-op for up to four players and first person view for while you’re driving.
I also tried out the demo for this one if you want to see what the gameplay is like before Outbound launches on the 23rd of April on PC, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch!
From the creators of Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley comes another heartwarming adventure inspired by the Moomin books!
When Moomintroll unexpectedly wakes up early from his winter hibernation, he finds himself completely alone for the first time, in a world he barely recognises.
The Winter season has set over the valley, replacing the familiar green landscape with layers and layers of white snow. Head out into the great outdoors to experience Moomintroll’s first Winter, where he’ll meet new friends, help them out by solving quests and puzzles, and discover that warmth can be found even in the coldest of seasons.
Moomintroll: Winter’s Warmth is set to release on the 27th of April on PC and Switch 1 & 2!
Next up is Bobo Bay, a cute pet simulation game where you collect, breed, train, and accessorise adorable little creatures called Bobos - each with unique appearances, traits, and personalities. Then you can compete in races and other competitions with other Bobo trainers.
Customisation is at the heart of Bobo Bay, with your bobos coming in thousands of combinations from body shape, colour, pattern, mood traits and more! But it seems like there’s a lot more to do as well, with a town to explore, Public Works Projects to fund, and excursions to keep you busy when Bobo Bay launches on PC on the 29th of April.
Explore a mysterious underwater world in Echoes of Mora. Play as Mora, who lost her brother in the depths of a strange lake that rose and engulfed their home. Swim through the flooded and abandoned village, finding hidden objects, and searching for clues about what happened. But that won’t be the only thing you find…
As you explore you’ll come across Echoes, which let you travel back in time and experience the village's beauty before the tragedy, and hear villagers' conversations. Can you piece together what happened in the past to find Mora’s missing brother in cozy and atmospheric adventure Echoes of Mora, which is launching on PC & PC VR on the 29th of April.
This next game combines the best elements of a shopkeeping game with a narrative game, and it’s set in early 1990s Japan!
In inKONBINI: One Store. Many Stories, you play as a college student working at your grandma’s convenience store. Get to work stacking shelves, ordering products, and helping your customers find what they need, while also listening to their stories and helping them with their troubles.
I played the demo for inKONBINI and I was so impressed by the gameplay and just the overall vibes, especially listening to the rain pouring down outside. inKONBINI: One Store. Many Stories will be launching on the 30th of April on PC, PS5, Xbox X|S & Switch.
This next game has been all over social media, which isn’t surprising because it looks so cute! Adorable Adventures is a cozy exploration game where Boris, a rebellious, cute, baby boar has been separated from his family during a forest fire.
Using the power of his sniffer, he’ll set out on an adventure to find them again, exploring peaceful forest meadows, rocky highlands, dark caves, and more on his quest to reunite with his family.
I’m interested to see how they’ll expand on the demo when Adorable Adventures launches on the 30th of April on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Our final game is heavily inspired by Viva Piñata, except it’s isometric and built from gorgeous pixel art.
In Horticular, you are summoned by mysterious garden gnomes to restore a ruined wasteland and populate it with adorable creatures. Breathe new life back into a long-lost garden, rebuilding and creating animal habitats with each species requiring you fulfil its needs before it’ll come visit.
Upgrade and improve your garden over time, write to the residents of this world and protect your home from unsavory characters come evening in Horticular, which is launching on the 30th of April on Nintendo Switch and is already available on PC!
We also have one last game that doesn’t have a confirmed date but does have an April label on Steam and that game is Flock Around!
Team up with your friends to explore a nature sanctuary and go bird-hunting in this co-op photography game. Explore the park together, snapping pictures of the birds you find to complete the guide book. From the common Robin, to more rare and exotic birds, there’s a variety of biomes to explore on your quest to snap them all!
Or you can choose to just mess around with your friends in Flock Around, which may be launching in April on PC!
That’s all of them! What a great month for cozy games and I hope you’ve discovered one or two that you’re interested in.
Let me know which ones in the comments and as always thank you for watching and I look forward to seeing you next video! Byeeeeeee
